| On Tuesday July 24th, 2001, Channel 7 NBC News featured a bridal horror story. Last year, Gretchen purchased a gown from The Altered Bride. Married in Argentina, she returned to North America for a second reception to celebrate with her friends and family in Boston. Wanting to wear her wedding gown again, she brought the gown to the cleaners … and never saw the gown again. A week before the "second wedding" Gretchen discovered that the cleaners had lost the gown! Very panicked and shaken, she came back to The Altered Bride for help. Could we make her a new gown that fit and looked great within a week?
Of course we could! By the end of the week, Gretchen was remarried in a brand new creation by The Altered Bride. While she will only see her old dress in pictures, she was pleased and thrilled with the new gown. We at The Altered Bride are proud that we could save her day.

I couldn’t have asked for better service and help in such a desperate situation and you came through exceeding my expectations. Here are some photos of me in the original dress – photos of the second dress are on their way, so I’ll send you some when I see them!
